Overview

The Talent Business Partner is responsible for relationship building first and foremost. This person serves as a face and experience for the organization. Creating a cohesive, collaborative, and seamless partnership with internal customers, as well as prospective and new employees is of the utmost priority. They are responsible for the full life-cycle experience of all who join the team and seek to hire.

 

This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all general job functions and specialized functions in the company, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. This person must possess an interest in other HR specialties outside of talent, as this role will be cross-functional.

Responsibilities

  • Provides quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
  • Develop strong, trusting collaborative partnerships at all levels of the business to understand hiring needs and develop/recommend/execute effective and tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Recruits, screens, and recommends placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).
  • Evaluate skill level and culture fit, manage the interview process, make salary recommendations, and facilitate the offer phase.
  • Be achievement oriented with a high sense of urgency, responsiveness, and follow through; possess excellent attention to detail; superb consultant/communicator; and work in partnership as well as independently.
  • Serves as a TierPoint brand ambassador at all times.
  • Drive social media strategies for talent acquisition and work closely with marketing to create more employment branding to attract top talent.
  • Assists with ensuring that recently hired employees have adapted successfully.
  • Initiates job postings along with attending various outreach initiatives.
  • Uses proactive networking techniques to build pipelines of candidates in local markets via multiple outlets (schools, partnerships etc.)  across our geographic footprint.
  • Maintains contact with organizations that specialize in targeted candidate referrals consistent with FCC/EEO/AAP requirements.
  • Regularly accesses talent strategy and brings new ideas to the forefront.
  • Able to create and maintain cost-per-hire, recruiting sources, turnover, and other related staffing information and reports.
  • May track and enhance Employee Referral Bonus Program and other programs as needed.
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and delivering various reporting such as headcount, recruiting budgeting, employee tenure, and other reporting as assigned.
  • Assist with the development and execution of Internships programs throughout the company.
  • Assist with employee engagement projects.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • 3 + years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR support, administrative coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work both independently and with others

 Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years of administrative and/or coordination experience, preferably in a technology industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Prior experience supporting mid-size populations of remote, onsite, and work from home employees across a geographic footprint.
  • iCIMS and/or Applicant Tracking System
  • LinkedIn Recruiter experience

 Working Conditions

  • Hybrid environment from our STL corporate office (Des Peres, MO) – 3 days a week
  • Flexibility that some weeks may require more days in the office than others

 

 

Pay Transparency
TierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency. We provide a compensation range for roles that may be hired in locations with pay transparency law requirements. It’s important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors- i.e. budgetary requirements.
Pay Range $60,000.00 - $97,778.29
