- 2+ years of experience in network design and production support.
- 2+ years of experience with network security technologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major firewall platform:
- Cisco ASA, Juniper SSG/ISG, Check Point NGX, Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto, VMware NSX-T, AWS
- Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience creating technical documentation and network diagrams (e.g., Visio).
- Willingness to pursue relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CISSP).
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in network and security operations.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems for incident, problem, and change management.
- Working knowledge of core networking technologies:
- Basic network security (firewalls, VPNs)
- BGP and OSPF routing protocols
- Cisco and Juniper routing/switching platforms
- Cisco Nexus and access layer switches (e.g., 2960/3750 series)
- Layer 2 protocols (STP, RSTP, etc.)
- Strong customer service orientation and alignment with company values.
- Ability to work in high-pressure, confidential environments and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using PCs, standard office equipment, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, Fortinet FCA/FCP/FCSS.
- Experience with network virtualization (virtual firewalls, load balancers, MPLS VRFs).
- Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, AWS).
- Experience supporting multi-tenant network environments.
- 2+ years of experience with load balancer technologies:
- F5 LTM/GTM, V-Shield, Brocade, Riverbed, A10
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (SNMP, NetFlow, syslog).
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Network troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark or Omnipeek.
