The Lead Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of the data center’s infrastructure and systems. Acting as the primary technical expert and escalation point, this role ensures optimal uptime, reliability, and operational excellence across all facility and hardware systems.
This position coordinates with cross-functional teams, manages vendor relationships, and provides hands-on leadership and mentorship to operations technicians. Key responsibilities include supervising hardware installations, troubleshooting complex technical issues, monitoring environmental and power conditions, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
