Overview

TierPoint’s Office Administrator will serve as the friendly face and welcome for all guests. This role will provide administrative support and coordination to ensure the efficient operation of the office daily. This includes answering phones, assisting employees in the local office, keeping inventory records, and replenishing office supplies as needed. Additionally, this role supports managers and employees through various tasks related to organization, communication, and other office-related events and requests. 

Responsibilities

  • Serves customers with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Assists with day-to-day office tasks, administration, coordination, and office organization to various departments within the organization.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Maintains guest logs and badge access for security purposes.
  • Ensure the operation of building maintenance by communicating with the Property Manager about preventive maintenance requirements and reporting repairs.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Coordination of corporate events, meetings, and lunches.
  • Oversees inventory and ordering of office supplies, snacks, coffee, etc. in various areas of the office.
  • Assist/manage/oversee conference room bookings and office hoteling.
  • Serve as a liaison with the corporate office, property management, employee programs, etc.
  • Responsible for space planning and coordinating personnel workstations in the office.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • In-office position with core hours: Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • High school diploma or equivalent with prior experience as an Office Administrator or similar role
  • High degree of confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization skills, and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – in person and on the telephone
  • Strong organizational/time management skills – detail-oriented
  • Demonstrates good judgment skills and decision-making abilities
  • Experience organizing events, meetings, and lunches
  • Adequate professional experience and knowledge to perform Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, independently and with others
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of work experience in an office environment 
  • Prior experience, particularly in the data center industry

It’s important to note the pay range may be narrower than displayed, as various factors are used to determine the offered compensation package including skill set, level of experience, geographic locations, and other relevant factors - i.e. budgetary requirements. The salary range listed below is not inclusive of total on target potential earnings and/or eligibility of the position. 

 

Pay Range $19.91/hr - $29.87/hr
